The
Free Service will allow you to test the service using your
ISP or LAN connection. Since many ISP's and LAN network
administrators limit access to the internet, the Free
Service will allow you to try before you buy. If the Free
Service works from your location then you can feel confident
in signing up for the service. |
|
Cancel your Service
If
you currently have an account the is renewed automatically,
you can login to 'My Account' and update your service plan. |

I am receiving an error when I
start Alias
When Alias is started it tries to connect to the service. If
this does not happen you will receive any error message.
This is usually caused by your ISP or LAN network not
allowing you to make a direct connection to our servers. |
|
I login to the Member Service but
I still get blocked web sites
If web sites are still being blocked then your web browser
is not using Alias as its proxy server. Your browser needs
to have it's proxy settings as follows:
- Proxy Server Address: 127.0.0.1
- Proxy Server Port: 10081 (this is the default port,
check your Alias display to verify)
When Alias is being used you will see the Http & Web connect
indicators move. |
