How to use the subscription service

 

 1. Connect to the service
  Run the Alias program and click 'Start' on this Start Up screen to begin connecting to the service.
     

After clicking the 'Start' button, this Connecting screen will be shown. If a connection to our server is made, you will see the Online screen.

 

If Alias can not connect, you will receive an error. This can happen for several reasons:

 

1. You do not have a connection to the internet.

 

2. Alias is being blocked by firewall software. Disable your firewall and try again.

 

3. Your ISP is blocking the connection.

 

 2. Starting the Subscription service
  After connecting you will see this Online screen. To access the Subscription Service, enter the Username & Password that you selected when you purchased your account and then click the 'Login to the Members Service' link.

 

 3. Using the Subscription service
  After logging in, click the 'Launch Brower' button.

Internet Explorer will be started and have it's proxy server settings changed so it will use Alias as it proxy.
   
  IMPORTANT!

After your browser starts, you should see the red & green lights start to move.

This will mean that the browser has been set to use Alias as it's proxy.

 If you DO NOT see these lights then you will not be able to surf to the blocked sites.

IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE RED HTTP LIGHTS!
