Installing the software |

| -top- | The alias.exe file is NOT an installation file. It will run by itself from your hard drive or your USB Memory stick. Open the 'Alias.zip' file and save the 'Alias.exe' file to your desktop or memory stick and run it. |

Running the Alias program |

Run the Alias.exe program file and you will see the screen below.

Click 'Start' on this Start Up screen to begin connecting to the service. | |

After clicking the 'Start' button, this Connecting screen will be shown. If a connection to our server is made, you will see the Online screen.
If Alias can not connect, you will receive an error. This can happen for several reasons:
1. You do not have a connection to the internet.
2. Alias is being blocked by firewall software. Disable your firewall and try again.
3. Your ISP is blocking the connection. |

The Online screen will let you start Internet Explorer and browse to
the Members web site.
